High spirits
Your 23-month-old is a study in motion. He's running, he's jumping, he's throwing, he's shouting. All the fine- and gross-motor skills he's been working on for the past two years are starting to come together, and it shows. It's next to impossible to keep your toddler sitting still for longer than a few minutes, which can make it hard to dine out, shop, or even run to the post office. But it's a wonderful time, too, as long as you have realistic expectations. Watch your utterly unself-conscious toddler twirl and jump and spin in the middle of the playground, and you'll discover the meaning of pure joy.

"Aniq ni outdoor boy!" kata bapa mertuaku a.k.a tok abah (kepada aniq & aqeela)..mmg satu perkataan yang tepat nak describe anak sulung lelaki aku ni.
Tiap-tiap petang..bila dengar je bunyi keretaku atau pintu pagar dibuka..dier akan terjerit-jerit di muka pintu besi rumah..nk mintak belas kesihan untuk keluar dan naik kereta..sedangkan bibik baru je bawak dier balik dari playground...kalau aniq tak sambut aku dimuka pintu..mcm pelik jer..aku akan masuk dan carik aniq..dan kebiasaannya..sama ada dia tidur petang ataupun tengah tgk upin ipin di tv9..hahaha..ibu dh hafal rutin aniq.
Antara perkataan awal yang aniq dah pandai sebut ialah car untuk kereta, shuu untuk kasut, suu untuk susu, epol untuk epal, ahyah untuk ayah dan bol untuk bola. Lihat, semua perkataan ada berkaitan dengan dunia luar!..disuruh sebut ibu..hurmm..kesudah dia taknak.
Time makan pulak..aniq mcm rakan-rakan sebaya nya jugak..memang memilih..tapi kalau makanan tu betul-betul sedap, dia akan rela diri hulur mulut untuk disuap.."dap" katanya..aniq memang selalu disuapkan makan..kalau makanan tu pejal mcm biskut/roti canai/kentang goreng/donut yang dicubit kecil-kecil baru aku beri dia pegang dan makan sendiri

Acknowledge his fears rather than dismissing them. "I know the water goes down the drain, but look, I can't even fit my hand in the drain." And talk to him about what's upsetting him. Remember that your toddler has a big imagination and a limited vocabulary, so it's up to you to figure out exactly what's going on. When you need to be away from him, continue to treat your leave-taking the way you have in the past. Always say goodbye, tell him where you're going and who will be watching him and keeping him safe. If possible, get him involved in an activity with the sitter before you go.

Aniq sgt takut dengan air..seperti yang aku cerita di entri yang lepas..hurmm..cmne la nk atasi masalah ni ek..tgh pikirkan beberapa cara untuk dia tak takut air..satu telah dikenalpasti ialah mandi air panas..sbb time kt umh mertua atau rumah mak aku..dier kurang jerit2 sbb kt umah diorg ader heater..umah kitorg takde lagi..leh wt proposal kt incik husband ni..untuk budget bulan depan..
Minggu ni kan minggu raya cina..aniq akan berlari ke arah aku atau naik keatas sofa bila dengar letupan mercun yang asik memekak je di area rumah aku tu..klakar je tgk biler dier terperanjat dan kelam kabut...hurmm,penakut sangat la anak lelaki aku ni aii..
p/s: 7hari lagi genaplah aniq 2 tahun..ya allah,cepatnya masa berlalu..
